Verizon Wireless has been long rumored to plan the release of a new device in the popular DROID series, one that would arrive as the successor of Motorola’s DROID RAZR, and some more info on the device is now available.

Supposedly called DROID RAZR HD, the smartphone was seen in a recent listing on GLBenchmark, with Android 4.0.4 loaded on it and with an MSM8960 application processor inside.

Moreover, the listing shows a 1.5GHz application processor inside, a dual-core Snapdragon S4, along with an HD touchscreen display on the front (1196 x 720 pixels).

Motorola’s DROID RAZR HD was spotted with the codename of Vanquish attached to it a few times before, and said benchmarking listing confirms that.

What it doesn’t say, however, is when the smartphone might land on shelves, or the price tag it might feature.
