Verizon customers interested in the purchase of a new DROID DNA by HTC smartphone can now grab it for a bit less if they make the purchase through Amazon Wireless.

The retailer has cut the price for this device down to only $149.99 (€115) with the signing of a two-year contract agreement, after having launched it at $199.99 (€152) a few weeks back.

DROID DNA is the first handset in Verizon’s lineup to pack a 5-inch full HD screen, while also including a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor and 2GB of RAM.

The smartphone was launched with 16 GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 2MP front camera for video calling, and support for Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network.

DROID DNA runs under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, with HTC’s Sense UI loaded on top.
