CyanogenMod is prepping the twelfth version of its Android customization overlay and if you’re dying to see what it will look like, the good news is that you can.

The folks over at Tutto Android have managed to dig up the first screenshots of CyanogenMod 12 and I’m here to share them with you.

And as you can see for yourselves in the gallery, the CM crew injected all the goodness of Android 5.0 Lollipop into their new build, giving it an attractive Material Design view.

There are a few changes that have been revealed by virtue of the screenshots, such as new messaging features including adding signature to message, new MMS solutions and the ability to choose different colors for different conversations.

Furthermore, it seems we will have a new music player, an improved search interface, dynamic playlists, and lyrics support. Music addicts will surely enjoy CyanogenMod 12.

All these new features probably sound very neat, so if you’re super excited about getting them onboard your handset, the good news is you won’t have to wait too long.

CM12 is expected to make a debut by the end of 2014, while the distribution of the nightlies should start sometime early next year.
