Owners of Android-based devices interested in installing custom software can now download the third release candidate flavor of CyanogenMod 10.1.

The new builds have already been pushed to the CyanogenMod download website, offering support for around 35 handsets and tablets at the moment, with more expected to get a taste of it in the not too distant future.

The new flavor of the custom software packs a variety of enhancements and fixes inside and paves the way to the final flavor of CM 10.1.

“This is a small incremental change over RC2, addressing a few tens of issues all of you reported through Jira (including some global problems like the preview issues after using camcorder, bad launcher icon alignment in tablets, disappearing widgets, a crasher in the T9 launcher, and a ton of translation updates), and brings us one step closer to release,” the team behind the software said.
