The CyanogenMod team has made available for download a new flavor of their Android 4.2.2-based custom software, in the form of the Release Candidate of CyanogenMod 10.1.3.

Back in May, the team stopped working on CyanogenMod 10.1.2, but numerous bug fixes still needed to be included in the code, and CM 10.1.3 is coming to save the day.

The RC of the new software version comes with Privacy Guard functionality and SELinux (permissive mode), which were available before only in 10.1 nightly builds, as CyanogenMod notes in a blog post.

Furthermore, the team has officially added support for some more devices to its custom ROMs, including HTC One family (m7), Galaxy S4 family (jflte), the Note 2 family (t0lte), and more.

Those who would like to take the new builds for a spin should not try to install them on top of CM 10.2 software. The new custom ROMs are available through the CyanogenMod download website.
