The HTC One SV has just been announced by US-based carrier Cricket Wireless. The smartphone will be available for purchase beginning January 16 for $350 (€265) outright.

Customers who choose the HTC One SC will be able to pair it with Cricket’s 4G LTE Android rate plans that offer, for a limited time, double the monthly full speed data allowance.

In this regard, the carrier’s $50 (€35) 4G LTE Android Double Data Rate Plan offers up to 2GB of mobile data, the $60 (€45) plan allows 5GB of full-speed data, while the $70 (€55) plan offers up to 10GB of mobile data.

The One SV ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform out of the box, but HTC has already confirmed the smartphone will receive a Jelly Bean upgrade later on.

The smartphone is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, which is complemented by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.
