The smartphone will be available only in China beginning October

Chinese company Coolpad has just announced the upcoming availability of its powerful Magview 4 phablet featuring a large display and an impressive CPU.

According to Engadget, Coolpad’s Magview 4 will be equipped with an Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset, which accommodates a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.

It will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and a large 5.9-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

Other highlights of the Megview 4 include: 16GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel rear-facing camera, NFC (Near Field Communication), aluminum chassis and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The bad news is that the smartphone will only be available in China beginning October, and Coolpad has confirmed that it will sell for 3980 yuan outright, which is about $650 or €480.
