The battle at the entry level of the market is intensifying, and CoolPad appears set to grab a big chunk of the segment with the recently unveiled CoolPad Great God F1.

The mobile phone was launched with a 1.7GHz octa-core MT5692 processor inside, as well as with a 5-inch screen capable of delivering a 720p resolution, and features a price tag of only $146 (€107). In China, it will go for 888 Yuan, being the cheapest octa-core device to date.

Basically, this makes the mobile phone a real steal, given that it also packs 2GB of RAM inside, dual-SIM capabilities, and a 2500mAh battery, as GizChina notes.

Moreover, the new CoolPad Great God F1 was launched with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, as well as with a 5MP front camera. It packs support for TD-SCDMA + GSM connectivity, which makes it fit only for the Chinese market for the time being.
