Good news for Cincinnati Bell customers who own an HTC Sensation smartphone as the regional carrier has recently started the rollout of the long-awaited Android 4.0 ICS update.

More precisely, HTC Sensation users who purchased their devices via Cincinnati Bell will be able to upgrade to Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

According to the carrier, the update is pushed OTA (over the air), in stages, with all HTC Sensation units receiving Android 4.0.3 ICS by April 30.

Given the fact that the update is available over the air, customers won’t need to visit a store in order to perform the upgrade. A back up is not required either, but we recommend HTC Sensation users to back up their sensitive data stored on the phone.

As soon as Android 4.0.3 is installed on the phone, users will be able to enjoy a range of new features and enhancements, which makes this update almost mandatory.
