Although it has already made its Windows Phone 8-based Lumia devices available for purchase in China, Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia does not seem interested in making the phones available on the network of wireless carrier China Telecom as well, it seems.

According to a recent post on WPDang, the company won’t launch a CDMA Windows Phone 8 handset for this carrier’s network in the near future, although it did partner with it for the release of Windows Phone 7.5-based Nokia Lumia 800C last year.

Apparently, this move will leave China Telecom’s customers only with the possibility to purchase CDMA flavors of HTC’s Windows Phone 8 handsets.

Huawei Ascend W1, which was unveiled earlier this year with Microsoft’s new mobile OS flavor loaded on it, won’t be brought to shelves at China Telecom either in the near future. For the time being, however, nothing has been officially confirmed on this.
