The new handset will arrive on shelves in late May

This year, Microsoft has managed to attract a great deal of manufacturers out there to its Windows Phone operating system, and a new one has just announced the upcoming availability of a handset running under the platform, namely YEZZ.

The vendor has announced a Windows Phone 8.1-based device in the form of YEZZ Billy 4.7, which should arrive on shelves around the world later this month, with a price tag of only $249/€229 attached to it, as WPCentral reports.

As one can easily imaging when learning about this phone’s price tag, the hardware specifications that YEZZ opted for are not top of the line, though the device should still be able to provide users with appealing performance capabilities.

The phone will hit shelves with an aluminum body, while also packing dual-SIM capabilities inside and a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen display capable of delivering an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.

Moreover, the new device will land on shelves with a quad-core Snapdragon processor packed inside, as well as with a 13.1-megapixel camera on the back. Moreover, it will feature 4G HSPA+ connectivity capabilities, as well as support for all GSM networks out there.

YEZZ Billy 4.7 also features Gorilla Glass 2 coating for the screen and a 7.2mm-slim body. According to the vendor, the new device will start arriving on shelves in late May in Europe, Latin America and the United States.
