14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has just released a major update for its ChatON instant messaging application for BlackBerry devices. The latest version comes with a handful of news features and some improvements meant to enhance users’ overall experience.
First of all, the update adds picture filtering, privacy report and birthday notification options. It also brings chat room encryption and automatic MSISDN input from registration page.
With the latest version of ChatON, users will be able to sync Profile Pictures from the application (profile picture and status message) to BBM (one way sync).
Automatic retry feature has been included as well, along with Enter key Guide Pop-up and various performance improvements (time of sending / receiving message).
You can now download ChatON for BlackBerry 1.11 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 5.0 and up.
