The smartphone will be launched in the country in the next 20 days

Celkon has recently launched one of the cheapest Android KitKat smartphones in India and has announced that it will release one of the lightest Windows Phone handsets in the next month or so.

Today, sources close to the Indian company have revealed to Gizbot that they have no less than 15 smartphones in the pipeline. All smartphones are powered by Android 4.4 KitKat and will be announced in the next 20 days or so.

One of the most interesting devices in the upcoming lineup is called Vogue Q455 and it is said to ship with Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out of the box.

Celkon Vogue Q455 will directly compete with Motorola’s Moto E smartphone, which is why the company has decided to price it under Rs 8,000 ($130 / €95).

Specs-wise, the smartphone is said to sport a 4.5-inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution capacitive touchscreen display with OGS (One Glass Solution technology.

It will be equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. On the back, the smartphone will boast an 8-megapixel photo snapper, while in the front, there will be a no less impressive 5-megapixel camera.
