Good news for those who kept their Australian carrier-branded Samsung Galaxy Nexus devices in the hope that the South Korean handset maker would provide them with the promised Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

AusDroid reports that at least two carriers in Australia have already approved the Jelly Bean update offered by Samsung and are now waiting for it to be pushed live.

It appears that Optus and Vodafone Australia have already confirmed the approval of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update, so those who own the Galaxy Nexus from one of these two carriers should expect the upgrade to arrive on their handsets very soon.

It is also worth mentioning that Telstra is still testing the Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Nexus, which the carrier has recently received from Samsung. There are no details on when exactly the update will be available, but it should not take too long for the carrier to approve it.
