Candy Crush Saga addicts who have updated to the latest version of the game that's been pushed onto Google Play Store recently seem to have some complaints regarding the smash hit.

Although King.com, owner of the Candy Crush Saga franchise, usually updates its most popular Android game monthly with new levels, it appears that this month, players have been left empty handed.

According to many Android users who have updated to the newest version of Candy Crush Saga, no new levels appear. Moreover, it looks like the update also breaks connection with Facebook, so if you have already updated, you will probably not be able to synchronize your game anymore.

For the time being, it's unclear whether these issues only affect a small number of Android users or if it's a major problem.

Developers have yet to answer these complaints and the only details on the update have been published in the form of a so-called “changelog” that doesn't really say anything. You can read the official changelog below.

“Well what do you know? A new Candy Crush Saga release has arrived, with great new features and plenty of new levels to help you continue your journey in the sweetest saga around! If that sounds good to you, don’t forget to download, update and rate us!”

We'll keep an eye out for any additional details on the matter and we will update the article. Have you been affected by these issues in Candy Crush Saga for Android? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
