Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, the latest flavor of Google’s mobile operating system, is officially available only for a small number of devices at the moment, though some users can also enjoy its features now, courtesy of the latest CyanogenMod 10.2 nightly builds.

The owners of Sony Mobile’s Xperia Z and Zperia ZL are included in this category, the same as those who have purchased a Sony Xperia Tablet Z LTE device, XperiaBlog notes.

Of course, the installation of these ROMs requires rooting the smartphone or tablet PC, which will void warranty, yet some users could see the availability of the Android 4.3 for their devices as being worthwhile.

Users interested in downloading and installing said software should head over to the CyanogenMod download page for that.

They should keep in mind that these are nightly builds, which means they might cause issues on devices. Users will be installing them at their own risk.
