Starting today, the CM Account that was officially announced several weeks ago is available as part of the latest CyanogenMod nightly builds.

The feature has been integrated in both 10.1 and 10.2 nightlies, in an attempt to boost the security capabilities of these builds.

“To add an account, navigate to Settings > Add account > CyanogenMod and create an account or log in with your existing account credentials,” the CyanogenMod team explains in a post on Google+.

CM Account comes with various features, including Find and Wipe functionality, which can be used by going to the CyanogenMod Account website.

The team of developers behind the software also notes that users who already have the app installed on their devices will have to remove it in order to be able to add the new version.
