Chinese company Lenovo recently has announced a trio of Android smartphones at Consumer Electronics Show 2013 (CES), IdeaPhone P770, S890 and S720. We have already reported on the first two, so let’s see what the IdeaPhone S720 has to offer.

Unlike the P770 and S890, the S720 is a budget-friendly smartphone. The device is aimed at Russia, India and Indonesia markets, but it won’t be a total surprise if Lenovo brings the S720 to additional countries as well.

The bad news is IdeaPhone S720 is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box. Aside from that, PCWorld reports the smartphone has pretty decent features for a budget-friendly device.

It packs a dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, an 8-megapixel rear camera, Dolby Audio, as well as a large 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display. No word on the phone’s price tag and availability yet.
