Indian company Byond has some experience with Android tablets and has just launched a new 7-inch tablet in India.

Dubbed Mi-Book Mi7, the slate will be available from multiple major retailers across the country, including Flipkart, for only Rs 11,499 outright, which is about $210 or €160.

NDTV Gadgets reports the tablet ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and packs a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz.

Furthermore, the Mi7 features only 512MB of RAM and around 4GB of internal memory with the option to extend it up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

Byond's slate offers 3G connectivity, along with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. Last but not least, Mi-Book Mi7 comes pre-loaded with popular app and games, such as Angry Birds, Facebook, Twitter, Adobe Reader and more.
