Soon, a new BlackBerry 10-based flagship smartphone is expected to become official from BlackBerry, namely the BlackBerry Z30, which has made it to the headlines quite a few times before, and which might include wireless charging capabilities at launch.

The smartphone has been spotted over at the Wireless Power Consortium, where it was listed with support for the Qi wireless charging standard, which suggests that the feature might indeed make it inside it.

According to CrackBerry, none of the previous leaks on the handset mentioned the availability of such capabilities inside it, and there is a chance that it was listed at the WPC erroneously.

However, considering the fact that most large handset vendors out there have already adopted the technology, it would not come too much as a surprise if BlackBerry did the same.
