Mobile phone users in Canada interested in the purchase of a BlackBerry Z30 smartphone should know that the device is now available at various wireless carriers in the country for free with a two-year contract. 

This is a limited-time deal, and it is available via at Rogers, Bell, and TELUS. Those who would like to purchase the one-year-old smartphone contract-free will have to pay above $500 (€353) for it.

Keep in mind that this is the flagship all-touch smartphone from BlackBerry, and that it runs under the BlackBerry 10.2.1 operating system. Soon, the handset will receive an upgrade to the newer BlackBerry 10.3 platform iteration.

The mobile phone features a 5-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution, and is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960T Pro processor.

Moreover, it features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage space. The phone’s 2880mAh Lithium-ion battery can offer up to 18 hours of talk time, or up to 384 hours of standby time.

On the back, it sports an 8-megapixel camera with HD video recording capabilities, complemented by a 2MP front camera for video calling. The smartphone also includes 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver.
