Yesterday, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry officially announced the availability of BlackBerry Z3 in Hong Kong, and it seems that the company is planning on bringing the smartphone to more countries as well in the very near future.

One of them is South Africa, when it will arrive on shelves at wireless carrier Vodacom sometime in mid-July, with a price tag of 2,999 ZAR ($277/€205) attached to it, on the carrier’s Vodacom Smart S plan at 249 ZAR ($23/€17) per month.

Moreover, as CrackBerry notes, users in South Africa who will purchase the BlackBerry 10 handset in July will benefit from a special offer from the wireless carrier.

The offer will include free applications for their device and requires for them to simply login into the BlackBerry World storefront on their BlackBerry Z3 smartphones. They will receive access to a selection of paid apps available at no cost.

"The BlackBerry Z3 smartphone gives users more ways to securely communicate and collaborate and extends the BlackBerry 10 platform experience to a new generation of South African customers at an attractive price point," says Managing Director at BlackBerry for Africa, Yudi Moodley,.

Starting next week, BlackBerry Z3 will land in even more countries out there, as BlackBerry is determined to push it to as many emerging markets as possible in the shortest period of time, after enjoying great success with it in Indonesia.
