It will hit shelves in the country starting with March 19

BlackBerry Z10, the first handset to sport the new, redesigned BlackBerry 10 platform, has been officially announced in the Philippines, where it will go up for sale via various retailers and wireless carriers.

The handset will arrive on shelves in the country on March 19, and will feature a price tag of Php 29,990 ($736 / €567) when released, n4bb reports.

The smartphone arrives in the country with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor packed inside, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, NFC capabilities, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

Furthermore, it sports a nice range of new features and capabilities powered by the BlackBerry 10 operating system, including BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Flow, a new keyboard, BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), BlackBerry 10 Browser, BlackBerry Remember and more.
