The handset will arrive on the market in Black and White flavors

Today, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry officially announced the upcoming availability of its BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in India, with a price tag of Rs 43,490 ($805 / €609) attached to it.

The smartphone will hit shelves in the country in black and white flavors, with the new BlackBerry 10 platform loaded on top, capable of delivering a greatly enhanced experience when compared to previous models, BlackBerry announced.

BlackBerry Z10 packs a 4.2-inch 1280×768 pixels screen, along with a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon Krait processor inside, and 2GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as a 3MP front camera for making video calls.

Other specs include 16GB of internal memory, microSD memory card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, an 1,800 mAh battery inside, and the usual set of sensors.
