Following user reports that the BlackBerry World storefront could not be properly accessed from devices, Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry looked into the matter and managed to bring the service back to normal, it seems.

Apparently, a technical problem with the storefront prevented some users from being able to access content through their devices, but the virtual portal should work just fine at the moment.

“This issue has been resolved and customers will have full access as the cache clears over the course of the day,” the handset vendor said in an emailed statement, a recent article on thestarphoenix reads.

No specific info on how many BlackBerry users were affected by the problem has been provided as of now, blackberryblast notes, though it seems that only a small portion of them experienced the issue.
