Owners of legacy BlackBerry smartphones out there might soon be able to take advantage of the features and capabilities of a new flavor of the BlackBerry World application, as an updated iteration has been pushed to the Beta Zone.

The new software release comes as version 4.4.0.19 and is already available for download for all those who have a Beta Zone account.

However, the updated application does not bring too many enhancements along. Instead, it was destined mainly to resolve bugs previously found in the software.

“BlackBerry World 4.4 includes several bug fixes designed to improve the overall performance and stability of the application,” the release notes unveil, according to CrackBerry.

Users interested in learning more on the new app flavor should head over to their BlackBerry Beta Zone to download and install it on their smartphones.
