The smartphone will sport a price tag of RM 1,299.00 ($407 / €317)

Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has announced the upcoming availability of its BlackBerry Q5 smartphone in more markets around the world, including Malaysia, where the device is set to hit shelves on July 15.

The company also announced that the new handset would land on the market there in Black, Red and White flavors, and that it will be released through local carriers Celcom, Maxis and U Mobile, as CrackBerry reports.

The mobile phone will feature a price tag of RM 1,299.00 ($407 / €317) when launched in the country, it seems.

BlackBerry Q5 was the third BlackBerry 10 smartphone unveiled this year, packing a 3.1-inch touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, dual-core processor inside, a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, 8GB of internal memory, and microSD memory card slot, along with Wi-Fi, 4G, HSPA+ connectivity capabilities.
