BlackBerry introduced the Q5 in India back in July, but the smartphone was a bit too expensive for an emerging market, as customers could only purchase it for no less than Rs 24,990 ($400 / €295) upfront.

Six months after its official release on the Indian market, BlackBerry decided to drop the Q5’s price to a more accessible amount.

In an official statement, the Canadian company confirms that BlackBerry Q5 will be available for purchase in India for only Rs 19,990 ($320 / €235) outright.

Potential customers can grab the BlackBerry Q5 from multiple authorized resellers across the country and BlackBerry official retail store. It is also worth mentioning that the smartphone is available in three colors: black, red and white. For more details on the handset’s features, check out our full BlackBerry Q5 review.
