BlackBerry hasn’t allowed physical QWERTY keyboards on smartphones to die yet, but this might happen in the not too distant future, especially since the company has showed an increased interest in touchscreens.

However, enthusiasts are still dreaming of new BlackBerry smartphones that will arrive on shelves with physical keyboards on the front, and the newly spotted BlackBerry Q40 concept phone proves that.

Available courtesy of blackberryvzla, the concept device shows a large touchscreen display and sleek keys, reminding us of the latest Porsche Design smartphones that BlackBerry has brought to the market.

Although only a concept device for the time being, the phone could easily turn into a real handset, that’s for sure.

No info on the hardware specs it might include has been provided, but you can let your imagination fill in the gap. Don’t forget to drop a comment below to let us know what you think of the concept.
