The smartphone will ship to users starting with June 6

Verizon customers interested in the purchase of the new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone on the network of their wireless carrier can now head over to the operator’s website to pre-order the device, with an expected shipping date of June 6.

The smartphone, officially announced as en route to Verizon several weeks ago, will land on shelves with a price tag of $199.99 (154 Euro) attached to it, with the signing of a two-year contract agreement, and will cost $599.99 (463 Euro) if purchased contract free.

The new device sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a QWERTY keyboard, 1.5GHz dual-core processor inside, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory, with a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. The handset also features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, capable of full HD video recording, as well as front camera for video calling, while being powered by a 2100 mAh battery. It also sports all the features that BlackBerry 10 was packed with.
