BlackBerry Q10 has been confirmed to hit shelves in late April in several countries. Customers in the UK will be able to purchase the second BlackBerry 10 smartphone later this month.

Pocket-Lint reports that the Q10 is now available for pre-order at the Carphone Warehouse for no less than £580 / €685 / $885 outright. Check it out here.

However, customers willing to sign up for a 24-month contract on Orange, T-Mobile, Three, O2, EE and TalkMobile, will be able to grab the smartphone for free.

The Q10 is the first BlackBerry 10 handset to feature a physical QWERTY keyboard. The phone comes equipped with a rather unusual 3.1-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that supports 720 x 720 pixels resolution.

Furthermore, BlackBerry Q10 is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4470 processor, which is complemented by a PowerVR SGX544 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
