Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry is gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone built in collaboration with Porsche Design, and a hands-on video with the device is now available.

The device, expected to be launched under the name of BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9982, will be powered by the BlackBerry 10 operating system, and will include the same hardware specs as the BlackBerry Z10.

The phone will sport unique outer looks, with a leather battery cover, and it will also feature a uniquely skinned version of BlackBerry 10, n4bb reports. Unfortunately, the leaked video with the device still shows the regular flavor of the platform.

The BlackBerry P’9982 is expected to become official before the end of this year, and it should sport a price tag of $2,000 (€1,495) when put up for sale.
