Next week, Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion will start to push the BlackBerry PlayBook operating system flavor to its users, and some more info on what the new OS version includes has just emerged.

In addition to a series of improvements across the platform, Playbook 2.0 will also arrive on devices with new, dedicated Twitter and Kindle applications.

Nothing was officially confirmed on the matter, but a leaked Best Buy ad shows that the platform arrives with improved social networking capabilities, among others.

Amazon promised a Kindle application for the PlayBook a while ago, and it appears that it is finally making it available for users. All should become official as soon as February 21st, the day when RIM is said to plan kicking off the update process for the tablet PC.
