BlackBerry has just announced it has updated the PlayBook with some improvements and tweaks meant to improve users’ overall experience.

According to the official changelog, several improvements have been included in the Gmail and Yahoo! account setup services, as well as enhancements to browser performance.

BlackBerry also updated the Audio Boost in order to comply with European Standard “EN 60950-1/A12.” Last but not least, the BlackBerry App World storefront has been renamed to BlackBerry World storefront.

Keep in mind that the update is compatible with all Wi-Fi and LTE BlackBerry PlayBook devices, but it’s subject to carrier availability, so it might not reach all users at the same time.

In order to check for the update's availability, simply go to Options / Software update and then tap Restart as soon as the upgrading process is successfully completed.
