Rumors on the upcoming release of BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 operating system have come and gone, but RIM has yet to decided when it will roll out the next version of its mobile platform.
Although the latest hearsay pointed to a possible release of BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 for the next week, it looks like the folks at Engadget were able to confirm that the operating system will be released on February 21.
According to the screenshot above BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 is indeed coming on February 21. However, it will not come alone. Engadget was also able to confirm that RIM plans to release BlackBerry Mobile Fusion at the same time.
With BlackBerry Mobile Fusion IT-savvy will be able to manage any compatible BlackBerry device using a single interface. Rumor has it that RIM plans to implement iOS and Android features for BlackBerry Mobile Fusion, in March.
