The official OS 7.1 for the BlackBerry Curve 9360 has been released by Virgin Mobile about two weeks ago. Although rumors pointed to a release at Bell as well, the carrier did not make any comments on the subject.

Today, the folks over at CrackBerry have learned that the update has been uploaded into RIM’s servers and is now available for download.

Bell customers who own the BlackBerry Curve 9360 and wish to update to OS 7.1.0.219 should know that this will bring several new features and bug fixes.

The update has 235 MB and it was published on February 17. With BlackBerry OS 7.1, those who own the BlackBerry Curve 9360 will be able to take advantage of the Wi-Fi hotspot capability, NFC (Near Field Communications), as well as FM Radio, among others.
