Right on cue, the BlackBerry OS 10.2.1 has started to arrive on smartphones around the world, with multiple reports coming from North America, Europe, and other regions currently suggesting that users are being notified of its immediate availability.

The new platform release has been rumored for quite some time now to be arriving on devices starting today, and it seems that BlackBerry kept its word.

The update is reportedly emerging on devices at Canadian wireless carriers (including Bell, Rogers, and Telus), as well as in Europe at T-Mobile.

Airtel in India is also said to have started the deployment, as well as Telstra and Vodafone in Australia. Moreover, users in Indonesia also saw the update landing on their devices, it seems.

All in all, it appears that BlackBerry has indeed kicked off the global rollout of the update, though it has yet to provide specific details on the matter as well as a full changelog for the platform upgrade.

Update: BlackBerry has made OS 10.2.1 official, while also providing a changelog for it.
