Owners of BlackBerry OS 10-based handsets interested in installing a new flavor of the mobile operating system on their smartphones can now download the BlackBerry OS 10.2.1.3175 that leaked online today.

The new platform release is available for download for the BlackBerry Z30, BlackBerry Q10 and BlackBerry Q5 handsets out there, though it should arrive on other phones as well shortly.

Unfortunately, as N4BB notes, no specific info on what was changed inside this build when compared to the previously available OS 10.2.1.2947 has been provided as of now. However, those who would like to have a closer look at the software can now find it available online.

If you are interested in downloading the update and installing it on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone, keep in mind that this is not an official release.

There’s no telling whether the build is stable enough for everyday use, and those who will install it will do so at their own risk. As usual, the best thing to do is to wait for the official release to arrive on your handsets, even if that might take longer.

Loading unofficial software on smartphones could damage them, and users will be the only ones responsible in the event that this happens.
