Canadian mobile phone maker BlackBerry has started to roll out a new flavor of the BlackBerry Maps application for the owners of BlackBerry 10-powered smartphones, namely version 10.1.0.808.

The new app flavor arrives on handsets shortly after version 10.1.0.805 started to roll out, and is meant to resolve a crash bug, CrackBerry notes.

For those out of the loop, we should note that BlackBerry added some appealing features in the software not long ago, including “Geolinks,” which allow instant navigation to any text address found in any app (though available only in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and Singapore).

Furthermore, BlackBerry Maps received a “My Places” section recently, which allows personalized location and navigation experience from anywhere on the platform.
