A new flavor of the BlackBerry Link application is now available for download for the owners of BlackBerry 10-powered smartphones, set to provide them with some appealing new features.

The new flavor of the application arrives with USB synchronization with Outlook capabilities, which was meant to provide users with the possibility to import contacts and calendar information straight from Outlook to the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in their hands.

Furthermore, the new app release brings along a series of fixes for issues that emerged when switching from an older BlackBerry device to the new Z10, and will be accompanied by a device OS upgrade, it seems.

“An updated version of BlackBerry 10 OS for the BlackBerry Z10 is being provided to carriers for testing and will be released soon to further address device switch issues,” the release notes reportedly unveil.
