The old BlackBerry Curve 9300 is about to make its debut at TELUS on April 2. It appears that the carrier plans to launch the smartphone on Prepaid for $199.99 CAD outright.

The folks over at MobileSyrup got their hands on a TELUS internal document which confirms both the price tag and the release date for BlackBerry Curve 9300. It is also worth mentioning that the device will come with a $20 CAD activation credit.

The smartphone will probably be shipped with BlackBerry OS 6.0 out of the box. The rest of the Curve 9300’s features are far from being impressive. In fact this is just a budget-friendly BlackBerry smartphone.

It features a 2.46-inch standard display that supports 320 x 240 pixels resolution, a traditional QWERTY keyboard, 256 MB of RAM, 256 MB of ROM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).
