Fancy a BlackBerry Classic handset and you live in the US? In case you haven’t placed a pre-order for one yet, it appears you might be out of luck.

The company opened up pre-orders for the handset in the middle of last month, and since then the BlackBerry Classic has run out of stock in North America.

But not to worry, the company said it would replenish its stocks starting early January 25. So, though luck if you were hoping to grab it until Christmas.

Even so, there’s an alternative. Maybe you know someone who lives in the United Kingdom, France or Germany. If you do, you could persuade them to send you a piece, because the handset is still available for pre-order in these European countries.

The BlackBerry Classic is expected to make a debut on December 17, and when it does, it will come packing a 3.5-inch display with support for 720 x 720 pixel resolution.

As for hardware, the handset is expected to ship out with a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor fitted with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

The BlackBerry Classic has made headlines because it brings back the highly appreciated old-school hardware keyboard and navigation buttons.
