BlackBerry Bridge, the application that allows users to pair their smartphones with a PlayBook tablet has just received a maintenance update.

According to RIM, software update 2.0.2.30 improves the stability with multiple pairing and fixes some connectivity bugs. In addition, it fixes a predictive text issue with Tablet OS 2.0.1 update.

The following changes have been included as well:

- The ability to use the smartphone’s keyboard, trackpad and touchscreen to remotely control the Playbook tablet; - Open attachments, files and Browser URLs directly on the PlayBook tablet from a BlackBerry smartphone’s menu; - Copy/Paste from anywhere in BlackBerry Bridge PlayBook apps; - Use Device Properties menu to turn on and off BlackBerry Bridge email, calendar, and address book accounts.

Last but not least, RIM added various improvements to the overall user experience. BlackBerry Bridge 2.0.0.30 is now available as a free download via App World and it should be fully compatible with all devices running BlackBerry 5.0.0 and up.
