Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion has just made available for download a new version of the BlackBerry Bridge application, which is being used to connect BlackBerry smartphones with the company’s PlayBook.

The latest version of the application is 2.0.0.26, yet no changelog to offer specific info on what was modified has emerged until now.

However, the guys over at CrackBerry note that RIM usually delivers updates for the PlayBook OS after releasing new versions of the Bridge, and that this might be the case now as well.

However, RIM hasn’t offered specific details on the matter yet.

Even so, the new BlackBerry Bridge 2.0.0.26 is already available for download via the BlackBerry App World, and those who would like to give it a try should head over there now to grab it.
