The smartphone is available for $300/€230 outright

Exactly one year after its official launch in Canada, BlackBerry Bold 970 arrives at Mobilicity. The Canadian carrier has just announced the immediate availability of the smartphone for no less than $300/€230 off contract.

The handset comes with BlackBerry 7.1 operating system out of the box and packs a 1 GHz single-core Marvel Tavor MG1 processor.

In addition, the Bold 9790 embeds 768MB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, the handset sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flash and video recording.

BlackBerry Bold 9790 features a small 2.45-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 360 pixels resolution. The smartphone also comes with a full portrait QWERTY keyboard. Check it out here.
