Windows Phone users rejoice, as Microsoft has finally brought Bing Rewards on its mobile platform. For some unknown reason, the reward system was only accessible to those rolling an Android or iOS device.

However, beginning today, Bing Rewards is available for Windows Phone users as well, WMPoweruser reports. Obviously, only those living in the United States can take advantage of Bing Rewards, so if you’re not in this category, then this piece of info is of no interest to you.

Windows Phone fans in the United States will now be able to score points by simply using Microsoft’s Bing search engine when they are looking for something. These points won via Bing Rewards can then be redeemed for lots of downloads on Xbox Live and Xbox Music store.

Keep in mind that for the time being, Bing Rewards is only available for those who own a device powered by Windows Phone 8.1. Even so, there have been reports claiming that not all of Windows Phone 8.1 users can now access the new feature.

We suspect that Microsoft is now implementing the Bing Rewards system, which will soon become available to all those Windows Phone 8.1 users in the United States. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
