Microsoft Research has made available for download a new flavor of their BLINK application for devices running under Windows Phone 8, namely version 1.2.0, with a series of appealing improvements packed inside.

The new app release brings along support for Flash, which should allow users to snap photos in more light conditions than before.

Additionally, it comes with easier access to edit and share menus for previously captured sessions, and packs a link to forums in “about” page for FAQs, bug reports.

For those out of the loop, we should note that BLINK for Windows Phone 8 was designed to capture a burst of shots before the user even hits the shutter button, so as to ensure that no important moments are lost.
