The company may launch BlackBerry Messenger on tablets as well

It's only been 24 hours since BlackBerry resumed the rollout of BBM for iOS and Android, and rumors on other versions of the application have already emerged online.

According to BlackBerry Leaks, a reliable source in the past, BlackBerry is already working hard to bring BBM on Windows Phone 8 platform. In addition, the cited source also claims that BlackBerry Messenger will arrive on iPads and Android tablets.

Desktop and web versions of BBM are also in plan, which seems extremely plausible given the fact that BlackBerry officials demoed a desktop version of a BBM only a few weeks ago.

Given the fact that we don't have any official confirmation on any of these speculations, we will file them under “rumors.” We will keep an eye out for more details on them, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
