Although Asus already confirmed the Padfone wouldn’t arrive in Australia until Q1 2013, it appears that the phone-in-tablet combo is now available for pre-order from at least one leading retailer.

Ausdroid reports customers can now pre-order the Padfone 2 via Mobicity for a whopping 950 AUD (760 EUR).

However, the price includes the tablet dock besides the smartphone, so it might be fairly priced after all. Check it out here.

Keep in mind that the device is expected to arrive in stock on November 1 and is fully compatible with all 3G networks in Australia, but it won’t work on Telstra or Optus 4G networks.

It is also worth mentioning that Mobicity will have a limited stock of Padfone 2 units, so customers who wish to be among the first to own this phone-in-tablet combo may want to hurry.
