The Asus PadFone X saga is finally over, as major carrier AT&T has just announced when and for how much customers will be able to pick up the Android tablet/smartphone hybrid.

AT&T teased the PadFone X many times in the past, but did not disclose any details on when the device will go on sale and for how much.

Well, it looks like the wait is finally over for those who were eager to purchase the combo. According to AT&T, Asus PadFone X will be available online and in stores beginning June 6 for zero down with AT&T Next 18 or AT&T Next 12.

In addition, the carrier also offers customers the option to grab the PadFone X for $200 (€145) with new two-year agreements.

Asus PadFone X is a 5-inch full HD (1080p) smartphone that ships with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box. The phone can be docked into a 9-inch full HD tablet, allowing users to choose which display to use.

The smartphone is equipped with a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

The PadFone X also packs an enhanced 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a secondary 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
